AM 580 Agriculture Headed to Boone Iowa for Farm Progress Show 2008

AM 580 Agriculture Director Dave Dickey and Closing Market Report and Commodity Week Host Todd Gleason are taking their Commodity style Agricultural Market Outlook panels on the road in August, traveling to Boone, Iowa, and the 2008 Farm Progress Show. Dickey says “We’re excited about the opportunity to share our agricultural programming with Farm Show visitors in the western corn belt. It a chance to introduce our website and AM 580 Ag-E Letter to a whole new audience.” AM 580 will be based in the AgriGold Tent and will conduct four marketing panels a day at 9 and 11 a.m. and 1 and 3 p.m. August 26 through August 28. Regular on-air analysts making the trip to Boone include Pete Manhart of Bates Commodities from Normal Illinois, Chuck Shelby of Risk Management Commodities out of Lafayette, Indiana, and Sue Martin of Ag and Investment Services with offices in Webster City, Iowa. Dickey says, “It’s a great chance for Farm Show visitors to get their individual marketing questions answered and to meet some of the best analysts in the business.” Everyone attending a panel will receive a small gift of appreciation. AM 580’s on-line agricultural audience has grown substantially over the past three years and far exceeds listeners over the airway. The Farm Progress Show is the nation’s larges outdoor farm show event.
